Could you maybe post a screenshot or record a video? I don't think I've heard of any mods that change the awards, but do you have any mods installed? Otherwise it's not really supposed to do that as the Elite Rifle is only supposed to be a burst fire while the Beam Rifle which is the award for the Sniper rifle fires a beam, though it's purple rather than blue/orange, the only orange beam that a weapon fires is Leia's sporting blaster and the one that shoots a blue one is a Clone Sharpshooter's Sniper Rifle. No problem and yeah, I think the devs might have intended this as they probably felt as time went on people sometimes would rather use the normal version of the weapon rather than the award and you're stuck with it when you reach Legendary status with the award or well as long as you don't ever change your weapon anyway or completely making a new Profile. A lot of people particularly hate the Beam Rifle as it's impossible to get headshots with it the normal way and that your role changes from long range to close with the loss of the second magnification.

Generally, yeah, though it is pretty good at close quarters. The highlight of it is that it can penetrate up to 5 people so it's good for small maps like the Tantive IV where enemies can bunch up, but what kills it pretty much is how you can't get headshots the normal way, basically what you need to do is:Zoom inCenter the dot on the top of the targets head, as if you were trying to give them a haircut.Zoom outFireIt is noted that the dot has to be in the middle of the top of the enemies head. If your aim is off by even a centimeter, you will miss the shot. Due to the fact that the process to get a headshot is long and has to be very precise, you can only do this with stationary targets.But yeah it's pointless doing something like that even though bots are stationary like 60% or so of the time. The 'Award Rifle' is actually called the Elite Rifle and the Rocket Launcher is a Remote Rocket Launcher that you can control as you can already home with the default one by just locking onto a vehicle also the neat thing about it is it is the only award that doesn't override the default weapon so you can use the regular Rocket Launcher and the Remote Rocket, but that's all of them yeah.All the awards can be viewed in the Career tab and clicking on them shows a description on how to obtain them.
